 Reiki
is pronounced "Ray-key." REI means universal, KI
means life force energy. Reiki means universal life force
energy. Reiki is a group of rays of the universal life force
energy that makes all living things. It can be used to heal
ourselves and others, including plants and animals. It is
usually applied by touch, through the hands. This energy radiates
from the hands and is absorbed by whatever the hands are touching
or it can also be sent over a distance. A Reiki practitioner
is trained to bring that energy down into their body and out
through their hands. But a practitioner is just a vehicle
through which this energy flows. The person receiving this
energy must take responsibility to allow it to heal, harmonize
and balance them. |

Reiki is a weekend of learning the technique of becoming
a Reiki practitioner, utilizing the "Intensive Reiki"
system developed by Patty Meyer and Sharon Hall.
"Intensive
Reiki" is a form of Reiki combining the traditional
Reiki passed down by Dr. Usui with Tibetan Reiki, and encouragement
to utilize what works best for you. We feel that the more
people who learn Reiki, the better off more people will
be. The more people who use Reiki, the better off the entire
planet will be! We also feel Reiki should be offered at
reasonable prices to work toward that goal. Reiki at Level
I can even be taught to children.

with being attuned to these levels of Reiki, you will learn
to do a Reiki treatment on yourself, others and an absentee,
or long distance healing. You will learn how to open and balance
your chakras (energy centers). You will learn how to attune
others to Reiki. You will meet your Healing Guide and have
a powerful transformation during the Mastery Meditation. A
manual is included with step-by-step diagrams for the hand
positions and other valuable information to aid you in learning
Reiki. A Reiki Master Certificate will be presented at the
end of the weekend. |

 The
price for attending Camp Reiki is $500.00. This includes
food and lodging.
Since
class size is limited, it will be offered on a first come,
first serve basis. Classes are available in spring, summer
and fall. A $100 (non refundable, but applicable to another
class) deposit will hold your spot, with balance due one
week prior to the start day of of Camp. Upon receipt of
deposit and the on-line application
form, you will receive information that we encourage
you to read before the Camp, (the history of Reiki, information
on energy centers, etc.) directions to the cabin, the camp
menu and a list of things you will need. Prepayment is appreciated.
Camp starts Friday evening at 7:30 and concludes Sunday
around noon. |
